#s-14-- Forget overpriced schools, long days in a crowded classroom, and pitifully poor results. These websites and apps cover myriads of science, art, and technology topics. They will teach you practically anything, from making hummus to building apps in node.js, most of them for free. There is absolutely no excuse for you not to master a new skill or expand your knowledge by learning interactively at your own pace and in the comfort of your own home. It’s hard to imagine how much easier it can possibly be. #s-15-- You already know the drill: open a text editor, position your cursor where you'd like to insert a line break and start typing. You know how it works: you hit Enter and the line breaks instantly, and your document enters one section. However, what if you wanted to select more than one line? Maybe you want to select 3 consecutive lines? Or perhaps you actually want to do something with those lines—such as copy them into the clipboard (a "paste" action) or perhaps even send them along as an email (an "E-mail" command). With these extensions I’ll introduce you to some of the most useful new functionality provided by modern web browsers. In addition to the above, they will also allow you to search for text inside a page, force a page to reload, open a new tab with a specific URL, and much more. #s-16-- How do you learn how to use your smartphone or tablet? You watch a video on YouTube or a friend shows you how. Or maybe you read the manual at least once. It’s so basic that even my cat could do it! And yet when it comes to websites and software, there’s always something new—a hotkey combination that saves time or cuts wasted mouse movement or lets you perform some entirely novel task—that makes life easier. At the end of 2015 I made a list of my favorite hotkey combinations, most of them extremely useful for web browsing. The list has since grown into a repository that now has more than 300 hotkey combinations. But if you’re looking for something specific, chances are you have found what you were looking for. Now, with this extension I show you how to customize your own hotkeys so that they will work the way you prefer. You can even create an own key mapping which allows you to change hotkeys on-the-fly by assigning them shortcuts to any website’s action or command. #s-17-- So your favorite website suddenly starts acting up, and you’re faced with an unresponsive Flash application. But there’s plenty of ways you can fight back! There are some things you can try on your own, like clearing cookies or disabling your ad blocker. You can also try disabling other extensions or restarting Chrome. But if all else fails, you can rebuild the website's content in memory. If the issue is only with the website's code (and not something like images), this will often fix the problem. cfa1e77820
